Preliminary Examination
The Exam does not have any preliminary exam , it has only single written exam. The compulsory English and General Study are also included in the examination.
Main Written Examination

Personality Test (Interview)
The final stage is a personality test/interview (100 marks) conducted by the UPSC board to assess the candidate's suitability for the service.
